Life Whisperer’s Dr Jonathan Hall has been recognised with an international award for his work in artificial intelligence

Life Whisperer and Presagen co-founder Dr Jonathan Hall has been awarded the MIT Technology Review Innovator under 35 Asia Pacific title for his work in the application of artificial intelligence for medical imaging, and in particular embryo assessment to improve success rates for infertile couples undergoing IVF.

Adelaide’s Dr Hall was named one of the 10 honourees of the regional MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 competition for Australia, Hong Kong SAR, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

Life Whisperer has developed an AI technology which allows for faster and more accurate selection of viable embryos to be used in in-vitro fertilisation. Dr Hall said the award was “a great honour”.

Meanwhile co-founder of both companies Dr Michelle Perugini was presenting at the SouthStart conference in Adelaide today.
